Anna Calvi is set to launch her latest musical endeavor, an EP titled 'Is This All There Is?', on March 20. This new collection of tracks showcases collaborations with renowned artists such as Laurie Anderson, Iggy Pop, and Matt Berninger. Among its offerings is a previously shared rendition of Bonnie “Prince” Billy’s “I See a Darkness.” The accompanying video for the EP's inaugural single, “God’s Lonely Man,” featuring Iggy Pop, has also been released.

'Is This All There Is?' marks the initial installment in a series of three interconnected recordings that delve into concepts of selfhood and emotional connections. Calvi revealed that her recent journey into parenthood profoundly shaped the EP's thematic core. This life-altering experience prompted her to reflect on the potential for profound shifts in all aspects of existence, a realization she described as both daunting and liberating.

She expressed a desire to cherish every moment and to live optimally for her child's well-being, which led her to confront the fundamental human inquiry: 'Is this the full extent of what life offers?' This introspective question became the driving force behind the EP's narrative, guiding its exploration of personal transformation and existential contemplation.

In addition to her upcoming EP, Calvi has recently expanded her creative portfolio into television scoring. In 2023, she composed the soundtracks for two seasons of the popular series 'Peaky Blinders,' demonstrating her versatility across different artistic mediums. Her last full-length album, 'Hunter,' was released in 2018, followed by 'Hunted,' a reimagined version of the same album, in 2020.

The tracklist for 'Is This All There Is?' includes:

01 God’s Lonely Man [featuring Iggy Pop]
02 I See a Darkness [featuring Perfume Genius]
03 Computer Love [featuring Laurie Anderson]

Calvi's latest work delves into the depths of personal evolution and the complexities of human relationships, offering listeners a journey through her introspective musical landscape, enriched by diverse artistic partnerships.
