Anyma, half of the renowned EDM duo Tale of Us, made an impromptu appearance at Coachella's Do Lab stage, joining forces with Berlin-based DJ and producer Marlon Hoffstadt for a dynamic back-to-back set. This unexpected performance took place on Sunday night, commencing at 10:45 p.m. PT. The announcement brought a wave of excitement after Anyma's initial Friday night set had to be called off due to adverse weather. The Do Lab's official Instagram account shared the news, declaring, "Let's end at the beginning. Anyma b2b Marlon Hoffstadt close out the Do LaB at 10:45pm tonight."

Anyma's original performance was slated to follow Sabrina Carpenter's headline act on the first day of the festival. However, due to dangerously high winds, the set was regretfully canceled. Attendees were informed of this "schedule update" shortly after midnight via online statements and push notifications through the official Coachella application. The artist himself conveyed his deep disappointment on his X account, expressing sorrow to all those who had planned to attend his main stage performance and those watching the livestream.

He articulated the immense personal significance of presenting his new ÆDEN show and sharing his latest music and artistic endeavors, acknowledging the pain of the cancellation, especially after a year of relentless effort from his team and the Coachella crew. Anyma emphasized that safety was the paramount concern, explaining that the severe winds not only hindered the construction of their stage but also made it impossible to operate his elaborate live setup and performance equipment securely. Prior to this surprise announcement, Anyma had indicated that no alternative slots were available for his performance during the first weekend of Coachella, yet he had hinted at seeking a solution to deliver some music without encroaching upon other artists' scheduled times. Winds in Indio on Friday had reached speeds of up to 35-40 mph, leading to reports of tents being overturned in the festival's campground area.

Despite the initial setback caused by uncooperative weather conditions, Anyma managed to orchestrate a memorable return to the Coachella stage. His collaboration with Marlon Hoffstadt at the Do Lab provided a much-anticipated experience for fans who had been looking forward to his performance. The resilience shown by the artist and the festival organizers in adapting to unforeseen circumstances highlights their commitment to delivering engaging musical experiences, even when faced with significant challenges.
