This guide details how to successfully complete the 'After Rain Comes' mission in Arc Raiders, including necessary item collection and the solar panel's location.

Restore Power, Conquer the Floods!

Embarking on the "After Rain Comes" Mission

Following the successful completion of Shani's "Eyes in the Sky" assignment in Arc Raiders, the protagonist, Celeste, will issue a new directive: venturing into the submerged urban landscape known as the Buried City. The primary goal for this expedition is deceptively straightforward: to mend a solar panel that has succumbed to water damage. However, this particular undertaking deviates from typical quests where valuable items are extracted; instead, players are required to deliver specific components into the mission zone or acquire them during their traversal.

Essential Supplies for Solar Panel Restoration

A crucial prerequisite for the "After Rain Comes" quest is securing the necessary repair materials: five strands of wire and two batteries. These items must be present in your inventory to interact with the damaged solar panels within the Buried City. Both wires and batteries can be sourced through various means:

  • Scavenging electronic equipment: Search computers, server racks, and other technological devices scattered across Electrical, Technological, and even Residential sectors. In the Buried City, notable locations include Space Travel, Research facilities, Santa Maria Houses, and Grandioso Apartments. For those exploring the Dam Battlegrounds, the Power Generation Complex, Research & Administration, and the Control Tower also offer potential finds.
  • Salvaging discarded components: Recycle various tech-related items such as Power Cables, Power Banks, Portable TVs, Toasters, and Heatsinks to obtain the required wires and batteries.

Locating and Repairing the Flooded Solar Panel

Once the essential wires and batteries are secured (it's advisable to store them in a safepocket to prevent loss), proceed to the Buried City. As indicated on the provided map, your destination is a distinctive yellow electrical box situated beneath a large array of solar panels. This landmark can be found on the eastern side of the Grandioso Apartments, adjacent to a pond located in the southwestern part of the map. Upon approaching the electrical box, a prompt will appear, allowing you to utilize your collected wires and batteries to initiate the repair of the waterlogged solar panels.

Rewards for a Successful Repair

Despite the initial provision of a zipline upon accepting the quest (the reasoning for which remains unclear), the completion of this mission yields a modest bounty. Successfully repairing the solar panels will reward you with five blue light sticks, five pieces of durable cloth, and three antiseptics. While the material rewards may seem minimal, the true satisfaction lies in the accomplishment of the quest itself and the advancement of Celeste's objectives.

Samsung Accelerates PCIe 6.0 SSD Development Amidst AI-Driven Demand
Samsung is intensifying its efforts in the development of PCIe 6.0 SSDs, with initial orders focused on research and development. This move comes as the demand for high-performance storage solutions, particularly driven by artificial intelligence applications, continues to surge. While these advanced SSDs, including future 512 TB models, are primarily aimed at enterprise and data center markets, they signify a broader technological shift. Consumer-grade PCIe 4.0 and 5.0 SSDs currently suffice for gaming needs, as the performance benefits of newer generations do not yet justify their premium cost for general users.
