Experience Country Music by the Ocean at Country Thunder Florida 2026
A Fresh Start on Florida's Gulf Coast
Country Thunder Florida is embarking on an exciting new venture, relocating its 2026 festival to the beautiful St. Pete Beach. Following last year's event in Tampa, the festival is setting up shop at the TradeWinds Resort, roughly 25 miles to the southwest. This move promises a unique beachfront setting, offering concert-goers a distinct and elevated experience compared to previous iterations.
Headliners and Diverse Performances Take Center Stage
The 2026 festival boasts an impressive roster of headlining acts. Leading the charge is Gavin Adcock, the Georgia-based singer-songwriter known for his album, Own Worst Enemy. He will be joined by co-headliners Zach Top and the highly popular Kane Brown. Adding to the star power, Gretchen Wilson, celebrated for her hit "Redneck Woman" and her role in Taylor Sheridan's reality competition The Road, is also slated to perform. Country music veteran Randy Houser, known for his powerful vocals, and Shaboozey, who has garnered attention through collaborations such as "Took a Walk" and "Amen," will also grace the stage. The diverse lineup reflects a blend of established stars and rising talents in the country music scene.
An Expanded Showcase of Talent
Troy Vollhoffer, CEO and president of Country Thunder, officially unveiled the complete artist lineup. Beyond the headliners, the festival will feature a variety of artists pushing genre boundaries. Attendees can look forward to performances by Dasha, the neo-traditional stylings of Braxton Keith, viral sensation Elizabeth Nichols, and the country-folk fusion artist Max McNown. Completing the bill are Cole Goodwin, Solon Holt, and Jay Webb, ensuring a rich and varied musical experience for all.
A Beachfront Celebration Awaits
Scheduled from May 8th to May 10th, Country Thunder Florida's 2026 event will be the franchise's inaugural beachfront festival. This innovative setting is expected to draw a large crowd, eager to enjoy country music with the sand between their toes and the ocean as their backdrop. Vollhoffer expressed enthusiasm for the new location, highlighting the unique ambiance it will provide. He emphasized that the combination of the Gulf and top country artists on stage guarantees a memorable event, setting a new standard for the festival.
