Axel Willner, operating under his esteemed alias The Field, is poised to unveil his latest musical offering, "Now You Exist." This highly anticipated album, distributed through Studio Barnhus, is scheduled for release on May 15. It represents Willner's inaugural major musical statement following his 2018 work, "Infinite Moment." The upcoming record promises a sonic journey spanning approximately 40 minutes, comprising five distinct compositions characterized by their meditative ambient techno and drone aesthetics.

Residing in Berlin, Willner is recognized for his diverse artistic output across various monikers, including Lars Blek, Hands, and Loops of Your Heart. However, his most celebrated contributions to the electronic music landscape have consistently been under The Field moniker, a project he initiated in 2003. In the eight years since his last album, Willner has maintained a prolific creative pace, independently releasing music on Bandcamp under his birth name. Notably, his 2024 album, "COMMUNICATION pt. 1-7," was described in a press statement as a collection of musical fragments spontaneously recorded on a mobile phone over a decade.

Willner's consistent dedication to his craft, exploring the nuanced interplay of ambient textures and techno rhythms, continues to solidify his reputation as an innovative force in electronic music. His work invites listeners into introspective soundscapes, offering moments of profound auditory reflection. The forthcoming release, "Now You Exist," with its carefully curated tracks, is set to further enrich his already impressive discography and provide a fresh perspective on his evolving artistic vision.
