The initiative reflects a commitment to nurturing talent and pushing the boundaries of screen music composition.

Unlocking New Creative Horizons: Bleeding Fingers Music's UK Expansion

A Collaborative Vision for Musical Innovation

Academy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer, alongside co-founders Steven Kofsky and Russell Emmanuel, has announced the official launch of Bleeding Fingers Music's London headquarters. This expansion is set to enhance the company's unique collaborative model, which supports large-scale orchestral compositions while encouraging cross-genre experimentation. The goal is to serve a diverse range of projects, including global franchises, prestigious films, television series, documentaries, and immersive multimedia experiences.

Deepening Roots in the UK's Creative Landscape

The establishment of the London office underscores Bleeding Fingers Music's strong connection to the United Kingdom. It represents a decade of successful partnerships with British broadcasters, filmmakers, and cultural organizations, further integrating the company into the nation's esteemed musical heritage.

New Leadership to Drive UK Operations

Jesse McNamara has been appointed as the managing director of the London office. In this pivotal role, McNamara will oversee all London-based operations, lead creative development and production initiatives in the UK, and cultivate new partnerships across the British film, television, and multimedia sectors. He will work closely with CEO Russell Emmanuel and the global leadership team to expand the company's UK composer roster and fortify relationships with major broadcasters, studios, and independent producers throughout the region. Additionally, Dario Burns joins the London team as the latest creative director, bringing his expertise to the expanding enterprise.

Preserving Maida Vale Studios as a Cultural Hub

Bleeding Fingers Music intends to establish its London studios within the historic Maida Vale Studios. This iconic site, formerly owned by the BBC, was acquired in 2023 by Zimmer and Kofsky, in collaboration with Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, co-chairs of Working Title Pictures. The decision to preserve the building as a dedicated creative space, rather than converting it for residential use, highlights Bleeding Fingers Music's dedication to supporting and enriching the UK's cultural landscape for future generations of artists and innovators.
