Harry Treadaway Joins Amazon's 'Bishop' Thriller Series

Harry Treadaway has been cast in the new Amazon Prime Video thriller series, 'Bishop'. He joins an ensemble cast that includes Joel Kinnaman, John Malkovich, Jordana Brewster, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The series promises a gripping narrative centered around a homicide detective's pursuit of a cunning killer within San Francisco's affluent circles, with a twist that ties the investigation to his own family.

The upcoming Amazon series, titled 'Bishop', will feature Treadaway in the role of Wyatt, though specific details regarding his character are currently undisclosed. The show's premise involves lead character Bishop Graves, a seasoned homicide detective, who must utilize his extensive skills to track down an elusive serial killer. This perpetrator specifically targets the wealthy elite of San Francisco, while simultaneously gaining a devoted following among the city's disenfranchised. As the investigation progresses, Bishop Graves becomes increasingly convinced that these murders are intricately connected to his powerful father, Lincoln Graves.

Treadaway brings a wealth of experience to the project, having previously garnered critical acclaim for his performance in 'Mr. Mercedes'. This series, based on a Stephen King novel, ran for three seasons. He is also recognized for his portrayal of Victor Frankenstein in Showtime's popular 'Penny Dreadful'. His television credits further include appearances in 'The Crown' and 'Star Trek: Picard'. On the cinematic front, Treadaway has featured in films such as 'Gringo', 'The Lone Ranger', and 'City of Ember'.

The creative force behind 'Bishop' comprises co-creators and executive producers Little Marvin and Tony Saltzman, with Little Marvin also taking on the role of showrunner. Roy Lee is also attached as an executive producer, alongside Miri Yoon from Vertigo. Production for the series will be handled by Amazon MGM Studios, where Little Marvin has an overall agreement.

In this new thriller, Harry Treadaway will embody the character of Wyatt, contributing to a complex narrative where a detective's personal and professional lives intersect. The storyline delves into themes of power, social disparity, and familial secrets, as the protagonist uncovers a deeper conspiracy while hunting a killer who challenges the city's established order.
