Lowiro, the developer behind the successful mobile rhythm game Arcaea, is set to bring a true arcade rhythm experience to PC with its upcoming title, In Falsus. Drawing inspiration from popular Japanese arcade games like Sound Voltex, In Falsus aims to capture the essence of the arcade environment with its high-quality visuals, intricate note charts, and a lineup of celebrated composers.

Since its mobile debut in 2017, Arcaea has demonstrated Lowiro's ability to create engaging rhythm games. While many mobile rhythm games like Project Sekai offer enjoyment, they often lack the immersive feel of their arcade counterparts. Even established PC rhythm games such as DJMax, despite their popularity, don't fully replicate the arcade cabinet sensation. In Falsus seeks to bridge this gap, offering a dedicated PC platform for a meticulously crafted rhythm experience.

The demo for In Falsus, though limited to five tracks, has already convinced enthusiasts of its potential. These tracks showcase the game's commitment to quality, featuring contributions from notable composers in the rhythm game community. Camellia, known for his work in Project Diva, Beatmania, and Sound Voltex, delivers a standout electronic track titled 'Cryogenic,' featuring vocals by vtuber Petra Gurin. Aran's 'à la mode' offers a unique electronic soundscape built from spliced vocals, while ak+q's 'Hyaloüyne' presents a vibrant artcore piece with a blend of bassy rhythms and melodic segments, quickly becoming a fan favorite.

Further enhancing the demo are contributions from Feryquitous and the collaborative effort of Qlarabelle and crayvxn. Feryquitous's 'Ordirehv' brings a deeper emotional resonance with its piano-infused electronic sound and computerized vocals, contrasting with the more upbeat tracks. Qlarabelle and crayvxn's 'Ghost Ray' dives into the hard dance genre, providing a dynamic and challenging chart that has resonated strongly with players. The inclusion of such diverse and experienced composers underscores Lowiro's dedication to delivering a rich and authentic rhythm game experience.

The strategic choice to feature well-known and respected composers from the rhythm game scene is crucial for In Falsus. This approach distinguishes it from many non-arcade rhythm games that often feel less developed. With more composers like BlackY, Blacklolita, and kanone confirmed for the full release, In Falsus is poised to become a highly accessible and deeply satisfying arcade-style rhythm game for PC players, generating considerable anticipation for its official launch.
