Jessie Ware has officially announced her highly anticipated new album, "Superbloom," marking her first full-length release in three years. Scheduled for an April 10 debut via Interscope, the record is spearheaded by the recently unveiled single, "I Could Get Used to This." Accompanying the track is a visually stunning music video, transporting viewers to an enchanting secret garden. Ware describes this new artistic venture as a continuation of the "fantasy world and escapism" she began with her previous work, "What's Your Pleasure?" She emphasizes a desire to explore deeper emotional connections and personal reflections within this latest offering.

Ware shared insights into the creative process behind "Superbloom," explaining her intention to move beyond her established "pop star" persona. While embracing the theatricality of glamour and dress-up, she aimed for a more profound exploration of authentic relationships. The album, she notes, delves into her appreciation for love and her inherent fears of its potential loss, suggesting a more introspective and emotionally resonant body of work.

This forthcoming album follows her successful 2023 release, "That! Feels! Good!," which garnered critical acclaim and was recognized as one of the standout albums of that year. Although the complete tracklist for "Superbloom" is yet to be disclosed, Ware has confirmed collaborations with Barney Lister and Karma Kid. The album's mixing was handled by Ben Baptie, and a previously unreleased song is described as evoking the spirit of Minnie Riperton exploring a modern-day Garden of Eden, hinting at a rich and diverse soundscape.

While "I Could Get Used to This" signifies Ware's return as a solo artist, she has remained actively involved in the music scene. In 2024, she contributed to tracks with fellow artists such as Salute and Romy, demonstrating her continued artistic engagement and versatility across various musical projects.

This latest offering builds upon a successful streak for Ware, whose previous album earned significant accolades. "Superbloom" promises to further cement her reputation as an artist capable of both captivating fantasy and profound emotional depth, drawing listeners into her unique musical universe.
