Consequently, a more realistic assessment pegs the fair value of Lennar's shares closer to $80, suggesting that the stock may be overvalued given the prevailing market conditions.

The homebuilding industry, exemplified by companies like Lennar, remains under pressure due to a confluence of macroeconomic factors. The intertwining issues of consumer purchasing power diminished by inflation and elevated borrowing costs continue to dampen demand.
