Of Montreal, the celebrated indie pop ensemble spearheaded by the distinctive Kevin Barnes, is set to embark on an extensive North American tour this summer. The tour officially commences on June 19th in Athens, GA, at the 40 Watt Club, with Cormae joining as the opening act for the initial leg. This segment includes stops in prominent East Coast cities such as Carrboro, NC (Cat’s Cradle, June 20), Norfolk, VA (The Annex, June 21), Washington, D.C. (9:30 Club, June 22), New York, NY (Webster Hall, June 23), Cambridge, MA (The Sinclair, June 24), and Philadelphia, PA (Underground Arts, June 25). The band will then proceed through Buffalo, NY (Asbury Hall, June 26), Pittsburgh, PA (Mr. Smalls, June 27), Detroit, MI (Magic Stick, June 28), Kalamazoo, MI (Bell’s Eccentric Café, June 29), Chicago, IL (Thalia Hall, June 30), Louisville, KY (Headliners Music Hall, July 1), Chattanooga, TN (Barrelhouse Ballroom, July 2), Asheville, NC (The Grey Eagle, July 3), and Charleston, SC (Charleston Pour House, July 4), all with Cormae.

A brief hiatus will be followed by the tour's second leg, beginning on July 21st in Nashville, TN, at Cannery Hall. For this portion, Sloppy Jane will take over support duties, accompanying Of Montreal through the Midwest and West Coast.
