Experience the Melodies: Snocaps' First-Ever Live Performances!
The Crutchfield Sisters' Latest Venture Takes the Stage
Hot on the heels of their surprise debut album release, Snocaps is ready to hit the road. The band, fronted by the acclaimed twin sisters Katie and Allison Crutchfield, and fortified by the contributions of MJ Lenderman and seasoned producer Brad Cook, has officially detailed their initial live engagements. This highly anticipated tour is a direct response to the buzz generated by their new music, offering a chance for fans to witness their unique sound in a live setting.
A Glimpse into Snocaps' Debut Concert Series
The tour kicks off with a series of exclusive shows in select cities. The journey begins in Chicago, with two performances at Thalia Hall on December 1st and 2nd, featuring support from Cloakroom and Graham Hunt, respectively. Following their Chicago dates, Snocaps will head to Los Angeles for another pair of concerts at the Teragram Ballroom on December 4th and 5th, where they will be joined by Slippers and Mike Krol. The tour culminates in New York City, with two final performances at the Bowery Ballroom on December 7th and 8th, alongside Brennan Wedl and Ryan Davis & the Roadhouse Band.
A Legacy of Musical Collaboration: The Crutchfield's Journey
Katie and Allison Crutchfield share a rich musical history that spans many years. Their collaborative efforts predate their individual successes with bands like Waxahatchee and Swearin’. They initially explored their musical chemistry through lo-fi projects such as P.S. Eliot, which eventually disbanded in the early 2010s, and the short-lived Bad Banana. Both Brad Cook and MJ Lenderman have also previously worked with Katie Crutchfield, though not within these early sister projects. Cook has been a pivotal figure behind the production of numerous Waxahatchee albums, while Lenderman collaborated with Katie Crutchfield on her acclaimed album, *Tigers Blood*, most notably on the standout track 'Right Back to It.'
Exploring Past Milestones and Critical Acclaim
For those interested in delving deeper into the artists' previous works, a feature interview titled 'How Waxahatchee Made the Album of Her (Second) Life' provides insightful perspectives.
