Spoon, the acclaimed Austin-based rock band, and New Zealand's indie darlings, The Beths, have officially revealed their plans for a joint summer tour. This highly anticipated series of performances will kick off in late June, bringing both bands to a diverse array of venues across the nation. Preceding their collaborative dates, both groups are slated for individual appearances at the Green River Festival in Massachusetts, setting the stage for an exciting season of live music. Fans can also anticipate fresh audio from Spoon, who have just unveiled live recordings of their 2025 singles, while The Beths continue to ride the wave of their successful 2025 release.

The collaborative leg of the tour, which includes eight stops, begins on June 21st in New Haven, Connecticut. The bands will then journey through cities such as Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Baltimore, Maryland; Detroit, Michigan; and Cleveland, Ohio. Additional performances are scheduled for Columbus, Ohio; Cincinnati, Ohio; and conclude on July 1st in Louisville, Kentucky. These dates represent a unique opportunity for enthusiasts of both bands to experience their distinct sounds on a single bill.

Spoon’s latest activity includes sharing live versions of their tracks 'Chateau Blues' and 'Guess I’m Fallin in Love,' offering a taste of their dynamic stage presence. These releases come nearly four years after their last studio album, 'Lucifer on the Sofa,' and its dub counterpart, 'Lucifer on the Moon.' The band has hinted at a productive recent studio session, suggesting more new material may be on the horizon, building anticipation for their future endeavors.

Meanwhile, The Beths are also gearing up for an extensive touring schedule beyond their joint dates with Spoon. They are embarking on their own headlining tour this spring, which serves as a continuation of their promotional efforts for their critically acclaimed 2025 album, 'Straight Line Was a Lie.' This demonstrates the band's commitment to connecting with their fanbase and celebrating the success of their recent work. Their individual tour dates span several countries, showcasing their global appeal.

The combined tour dates promise a vibrant musical experience for attendees, merging Spoon’s enduring rock presence with The Beths’ energetic indie-rock stylings. This summer alliance highlights the synergy between two prominent acts in the alternative music scene, ensuring memorable evenings filled with compelling performances and a celebration of their respective discographies.
