A group of Northwestern University students, led by sophomore Aparnaa Ananthakrishnan, have embarked on a mission to spread joy through music at local healthcare facilities. As the president of Music4Joy, Ananthakrishnan organizes performances for patients and staff, bringing a sense of comfort and happiness to hospital environments. Ananthakrishnan, along with approximately 25 other students, formed Music4Joy to provide free musical performances at various healthcare institutions. Recently, they held an event at Saint Francis Hospital where five participants, including both music majors and non-music majors, performed in the third-floor hallway.
