Ciara, a Grammy-winning artist, was honored with the Avant Garde Award, acknowledging her as an inspiration for future generations. Meanwhile, Phylicia Fant, known for revolutionizing marketing strategies across major labels, earned accolades for championing diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout her career. Other honorees included creative director June Ambrose, media personality DJ Kiss, and photographer Florence “FLO” Ngala—all instrumental figures in redefining narratives around black artistry.

Dedicated to advancing breast cancer prevention, care, and research within underserved communities, this cause resonates deeply with many attendees committed to uplifting marginalized voices through philanthropy.
