Chosen Few Unveils 'Chosen Few Dembow' Featuring Star-Studded Lineup on Dominican Independence Day

On February 27, 2026, coinciding with the Dominican Republic’s Day of Independence, Chosen Few Entertainment will launch its ambitious 10th compilation, 'Chosen Few Dembow.' Spearheaded by producer Boy Wonder, this album unites a formidable array of over 30 artists from the Dembow, Reggaeton, and Latin Trap genres. Among the notable talents are Dominican rapper Nino Freestyle, El Mayor Clásico, Rochy RD, La Insuperable, La Perversa, Ángel Dior, Tivi Gunz, and Chimbala. Leading the charge, the high-octane track “Domi,” a fusion of Dembow and Reggaeton, is already available on various streaming platforms. This vibrant single features electrifying verses from Nino Freestyle, Shelow Shaq, and Jezzy, accompanied by a Carnival-themed music video where Boy Wonder himself makes an appearance. According to Chosen Few Entertainment, the album meticulously chronicles Dembow’s expansion from the lively 'barrios' and 'sound systems' of the Dominican Republic, highlighting its transformation into a powerful force within the global urban music scene and its crucial role in shaping modern musical expressions.

This latest endeavor by Chosen Few follows their 2023 release, 'Chosen Few: New Generation,' which spotlighted emerging artists like Jon Z and Papi Wilo. The legacy of Chosen Few’s compilations, initiated in 2003, has been instrumental in Latin music, consistently bringing underground Reggaeton sounds to wider audiences. Their 2006 album, 'Chosen Few: El Documental,' notably featured Reggaeton pioneers such as Hector “El Father,” Wisin & Yandel, and Arcángel, cementing the label’s reputation as a tastemaker and an essential platform for the genre's growth and recognition. The new album is a testament to the enduring impact and continuous evolution of these dynamic musical styles.
